No Metal Tools: NEVER use metal pry tools to remove the old glass or install the new one. Use plastic trim tools only. Forcing the glass will shatter it instantly.
Clip Alignment: Ensure all clips on the backing plate are perfectly aligned with the mirror motor before pressing. Apply even pressure until fully seated. Misalignment can damage the motor or cause the glass to fall off.
